BBC News India launches Whatsapp & WeChat account to know Indian voters mood

The BBC News India on 7th April has launched its instant messaging accounts to know what voters across India think as they go to the polls. The ‘BBC News India’ accounts has launched on two major platforms WhatsApp and WeChat. 
The two platforms will get coverage of the Indian election campaign to the users from BBC World News, bbc.com and BBC World Service. 

‘BBC News India’ will receive user-generated content directly from Indian voters while also distributing the BBC coverage of the election including videos, special graphics and interview clips. The broadcaster said it will provide people with top analysis of the election and also go behind the headlines to tell the personal stories that reveal what’s really at stake.
