Mindshare APAC appoints R Gowthaman as COO

Gowthaman Ragothaman has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Mindshare Asia Pacific. Prior to this, he was Chief Client Officer, APAC and CEO South and South-East Asia at Mindshare. In his new role, Gowthaman will be based in Singapore.

Gowthaman has 22 years of experience in the industry across FMCG, Airlines, Finance, Telecommunications, Banking and Auto and has led Mindshare South Asia to Agency of the Year for five consecutive years before assuming his current role. He is passionate about preparing Mindshare’s business for the future and firmly believes on the need to start behaving like a ‘principal’ and not an ‘agent’.

Meanwhile, Sudipto Roy steps into the shoes of Regional Chief Client Officer for Asia Pacific. He was earlier Managing Partner, Client Leadership and Partnerships at Mindshare, where he was handling clients such as Unilever, Lenovo and Kimberly Clark, among others. In his new role, Roy will be based in Singapore and will be reporting to Gowthaman.
