Venugopal Iyengar has been appointed as Business Head at digital media firm Apalya Technologies. He will be reporting to Vamshi Reddy, CEO and Board of Director at Apalya Technologies.
Iyengar moves from Sun Direct DTH, where he was heading Marketing and Content verticals for the last three years.
Vamshi Reddy, CEO, Apalya Technologies added here, “We have built a great B2C business with live TV and were looking to take that success into a B2C model. Venu’s consumer understanding and deep experience with content and content consumption will add the all-important consumer focus this model needs.”
Apalya pioneered live TV over mobile and is now stepping into the B2C space with a Video-On-Demand solution that will take the convenience of on-demand movie and television entertainment across devices.
