Vivo Mobile will be entering India through a strategic marketing and communication partnership with Viacom 18 Integrated Network Solutions (INS), a division of Viacom18.
Under this partnership, INS will help vivo Mobile build its brand in India and offer it ad-inventory across key television channels, such as MTV, Vh1, Comedy Central and Colors. This association will also give access to the brand across Viacom’s live and digital properties.
The company plans into several international markets this year, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar, besides India.
The Indian Government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, the company has keen on manufacturing its phones in India and will look at it in the next three years depending on the company’s growth.
The company has appointed distributors across 20 States and will expand further next year.
