Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has given 15 days final notice to TV Broadcasters for their reply on Ministry concern on their application
The Ministry in a note said that a stock-taking had shown that 20-40per cent applicant & do not reply to Ministerial references for more than 3 months to 1 year. This delays the entire process, l lending an impression that permissions are held up.
Hence' it has been decided to close all such requests where clarification from the applicant companies has been due for more than 3 months.
However, to provide a final opportunity to respond to Ministerial references a time of 15 days has been being given from the publication of this notice on the Ministry’s website.
