TVE exhibits 4K content at MIPTV

Spain's public network TVE intends to grab attention at MIPTV in Cannes by presenting the 4K documentary La Pasión del Prado.
TVE will broadcast its first 4K documentary about the Museo del Prado, one of Spain's most important art galleries. The project was technically supported by Hispasat and Abertis, and presents around 400 painting masterpieces from the museum filmed in 4K.

The public network will also show Entre Todos, a so-called emotainment programme in which people affected by the financial crisis tell their stories, in a bid to get help from the audience. The format, which has generated controversy among Spanish viewers, has a solid audience for TVE's afternoon slot.
The second season of Isabel, the historical series which has been sold worldwide, will also be shown as well as Los Misterios de Laura (Mum Detective). The Boomerang TV production has been adapted in the US by NBC and Warner, as well as in the Netherlands and Italy, and its original production achieved great success in most of Latin America.
TVE will complete its presentation with Saber y Ganar, the quiz show which is currently the oldest free-to-air (FTA) programme on Spanish TV.
