National Geographic Channel to broadcast documentary on IPL

National Geographic Channel (NGC), primarily known for showing programmes related to science, nature, culture and history is going to make all IPL lovers happy. 

The channel has decided to make a documentary based on IPL which will air a special series revealing the facts behind the massive machinery of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The series ‘Inside IPL’ will answer several questions of the Indian cricket fans and explain the inside story of the IPL. 

Speaking about the series, managing director of National Geographic Network Keertan Adyanthaya said, "IPL is more than just a cricket tournament with hundreds of millions of people and billions of rupees being involved. 

The association with National Geographic, IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla said, "We are very excited to be associated with a prestigious brand like National Geographic for a special series on the IPL. For the team behind the IPL, this is a fabulous opportunity to showcase to the league's loyal fans, the hard work and dedication put forth to make their favourite sporting event a reality."
