In view of promoting state tourism across the world Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed a reputed advertising agency to manage media planning. Minister for Tourism G A Mir said that, ‘The department has appointed a reputed Ogilvy and Mathur (O&M) Private Limited, a New Delhi based advertising agency to manage media plans of the tourism department for its promotion.
A promotional film has also been prepared which would telecast on different national and satellite channels at different intervals of time with an aim for promotion of the tourism. This production of film as well as airing of promos on leading satellite and cable TV channels would also require sufficient budgetary allocation, Mir said.
