TRAI extends time for comments on Interconnection framework for broadcasting TV services.

TRAI has extended the time for receipt of comments from stakeholders on consultation paper on “ Interconnection framework for broadcasting TV services distributed using addressable systems, “ to 10 June 2016. This has been done on the request of stakeholders. The consultation paper was issued  on 4th May 2016 inviting written comments and counter comments from the stakeholders by 03rd June 2016 and 17th June 2016 respectively. 
The last date for receipt of written comments now has been extended up to 10 June 2016. However, the last date for submission of counter comments remains unchanged. 
The comments/counter comments can be sent, preferably in electronic form to Sh. Sunil Kumar Singhal , Advisor (B&CS), TRAI on the e-mail: sksinghal@trai.gov.in and gs.kesarwani@trai.gov.in . 
The consultation paper is available on www.cablequest.org and TRAI website.
