TDSAT issues notice to Airtel on Asergis Telecom Services complaint

The Telecom Dispute Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has issued notice to Bharti Airtel on a complaint that Airtel had blocked Asergis Telecom Services toll free number leased from Tata Teleservices.
A TDSAT bench asked Bharti Airtel to file its reply by Tuesday.

Asergis will get two days after reply from Airtel to file rejoinder. Asergis had complained that Airtel was blocking its subscribers from its toll-free numbers since the calls were terminating outside India.
The TDSAT has been asked to declare Airtel's action as "illegal and in breach of the Unified access Service Licence".
