CQ- Sunil Lulla takes leave from BCCL

Sunil Lulla Bennet, Coleman and Co. Ltd (BCCL) corporate development president has decided to move on from the company. Lulla was designated as President – Corporate Development, BCCL, in January this year.
Lulla, who has 30 years of experience in media, has spent nine years with the Times Group. 

In March 2005, Lulla had joined BCCL as CEO for its then upcoming English news channel Times Now. Later in 2008 – 09 he had a over one-and-a-half year stint with Real Global Broadcasting, a joint venture between Alva Brothers and Turner Broadcasting, as director. He came back to Times Television Network as MD and CEO. 
In 2000, he had started indya.com, which was later acquired by News Corp/Star. He is also the man behind the launch of MTV and credited to bring it to number one position in India. Lulla was general manager and country head at MTV India from 1996 to 1999. 
Lulla had started his career with Forbes, Forbes Campbell and Co., a Tata Group company in 1984 and then moved on to JWT (then HTA).
