MSM ropes in Havas to drive IPL season 7 campaign

Multi Screen Media (MSM) has roped in Havas Worldwide as the communications partner for its precious property, the Indian Premier League (IPL). Like last year, the season 7 of the IPL will be aired on Max and Sony Six.
Havas Worldwide will be responsible for a complete integrated communication campaign – including the launch, promotion and sustainability. The campaign is scheduled to break shortly.

Last year, Havas Worldwide delivered the ‘IPL in Hindi’ campaign for Sony Six.
MAX EVP and Business Head Neeraj Vyas said, “IPL being a household name, there is a very strong legacy attached to it and with Havas Worldwide coming on board I’m sure they will live up to the zeal and vigour that the tournament requires. I am confident, Havas will only raise the bar higher with a campaign which will engage and excite the entire nation.”
MAX VP Marketing Vaishali Sharma said, “The entire nation looks forward to the IPL campaign just as much as the cricket matches and I am sure, our partners Havas Worldwide will do an excellent job of getting the entire nation up and grooving through the season. We look forward to working on some out of the box ideas with Havas Worldwide and hope to create a sizzling new campaign.”
Havas Worldwide India President – West and South Shavon Barua stated, “We are delighted about this win! It comes at the beginning of the year, giving the agency a kick start to 2014. Our endeavour is to keep the engagement high on Pepsi IPL by delivering humour and entertainment with a pinch of madness.”
