MTV India appoints Vikas Gupta as programming head

MTV India, the youth channel from Viacom18 stable, has appointed Vikas Gupta as programming head for the channel. 

Sources in the channel confirmed that Gupta will join on 3 February. 

In his new role, Gupta will report into MTV India business head Aditya Swamy. 

Gupta already has his own production banner.

Prior to starting his own production banner, Gupta worked with Balaji Telefilms.
