Man Jit Singh appointed President, Home Entertainment at Sony Pictures

Man Jit Singh, who recently relocated to Los Angeles, has been appointed as President, Home Entertainment at Sony Pictures. He takes over from David Bishop, who will exit the company after his contract expires in March 2014.
Singh will report to Michael Lynton, CEO, Sony Entertainment, and Amy Pascal, Co-Chairman, Sony Pictures Entertainment.

As is known, till recently Man Jit Singh was CEO of Multi Screen Media India. The post now goes to NP Singh, who was earlier COO of MSM. Man Jit Singh will, however, be associated with MSM as Non-Executive Chairman.
Singh was appointed as interim CEO of MSM in 2009 after Kunal Dasgupta’s departure from the company.
