Airtel launches mobile education service

Bharti Airtel has launched education services on the mobile device. Called mEducation services, Airtel mobile customers can access a host of education services including courses for language skills, entrance exam preparation and career counselling from various universities and professors in the country.
K. Srinivas, President- Consumer Business, Bharti Airtel, said, “In many parts of the country, access to formal education is still restricted. Mobile platform has the potential to bridge this restriction using technology.”

Based on both voice (IVR) and SMS format, the courses offer interactive learning in the native language of the customers. Regular assessment tests also help customers evaluate their progress. Customers can now also easily access the details of campuses and the scholarships on their fingertips.
Customers can now easily improve their capabilities with new skills and build self-confidence by improving their use of English, through test preparations for entrance exams or personality development sessions. MBA aspirants can now learn the tricks to crack the CAT by the CAT guru Arun Sharma.
