AT&T set to acquire T-Mobile for $39 bn

AT&T has agreed to buy T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom for $39 billion in cash and stocks. 
According to a press release of Deutsche Telekom, the German company will be getting $25 billion in cash and $14 billion in stock that would give it a 8 per cent stake in AT&T. 

The combined customer base of this merger will be 130 million humans and both the companies estimate that it'll take them 12 months to get through all the bureaucracy - if they get through.
