Hathway appoints K V Anand as President, Digital Platforms

Hathway Cable & Datacom has appointed KV Anand as President, Digital Platforms. 

Anand comes on board with 18 years’ experience in the media/pay television industry, where he held senior positions in Star TV across Asia and Middle East regions, a short stint at BSkyB in the UK and a long stint at Tata Sky. 

Anand said, “I am excited to join Hathway, most of the time I had been working with satellite DTH, this is the first time I am associated with the cable industry. The timing cannot be more appropriate as digitisation is happening in India and the potential is huge.” 

Jagdish Kumar, MD & CEO, Hathway said, “We are very excited with the opportunities and challenges that will come our way during our transition from a wholesale business to a retail consumer business.
