The India unit of UK's Vodafone Group on Friday launched free Wi-Fi services in Delhi's Khan Market area.
The service can be availed by all subscribers including Vodafone consumers, India's No 2 telco said in a statement.
Visitors to the area can simply send text ACT TRYWIFI to 111 to access Wi-Fi service to get 50 MB data every day for 30 days.
Non-Vodafone subscribers, after collecting their vouchers (for 20 minutes) from company's outlets can enjoy free Wi-Fi. "Post 20 mins they users can take another free voucher. This is a free service for a month in Khan Market," the company said.
The launch is in line with the emerging data consumption patterns and aimed at youth.
