New Social Media Wing of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has gone all out to publicize 18th International Children’s Film Festival presently undergoing in Hyderabad.
Twitter got above 200 new followers minutes after the opening of the ICFFI. Photographs, brief news and related videos of the festival posted instantly on various channels of new media during the festival.
Ministry’s account on Twitter already has 48, 217 followers and there are around 7,467 likes on Facebook as on Sunday (17-11-2013).
The new initiative taken by the ministry provides instant information for audience all over the world. I&B dedicated channels on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Google+ and thousands of followers on all these. At present all important events of the ICFFI are being uploaded on the social media.
