The One Alliance elevates Makarand Palekar to EVP, Sales & Strategy

The One Alliance, a joint venture between MSM and Discovery Networks, has elevated Makarand Palekar as the Executive Vice President – Sales & Strategy. Palekar was earlier Senior Vice President – Sales and strategy.

Rajesh Kaul, President, The One Alliance  said, “It gives me immense pleasure and pride to announce that the Board has, very rightly, decided to promote Makarand Palekar to one of the highest levels in the corporate arena. Palekar’s move to the EVP level is a clear indication that he has been instrumental in taking The One Alliance to the height where it is today. He has played an important role in growing revenues and contributing to the success of the company.”

A sales veteran with over 17 years of experience, Palekar has been with the company for the last three years. Prior to this, he was heading sales at ESPN – Star Sports.
