Deepak Chaurasia to join India News as editor-in-chief, news

Hindi television news anchors, Deepak Chaurasia has decided to quit ABP News and join ITV Media Group's India News. 
Deepak Chaurasia will begin a new phase in his career at ITV Media Group's India News as editor-in-chief for news. He is currently on a break and will begin work at India News on January 14. 

Chaurasia has had a two-decade long career in the broadcast news industry. Before India News, he worked with ABP News (July, 2008 to December, 2012). 
He has also worked with Doordarshan, Aaj Tak and STAR News. He was one of the founding members of Aaj Tak and has reported on issues from Palestine, Iraq, Kargil, Gulf and other areas. He has spent a large part of his career at Aaj Tak and joined Prasar Bharti as a consulting editor for DD in 2003. However, after nine months, he returned to Aaj Tak in 2004.
