Bloomberg Television show First Up bags Best News Programme award

At the 17th Asian Television Awards 2012 held in Singapore on 07 December 2012, Bloomberg Television won the award for Best News Programme with "First Up," a daily morning news programme hosted by Susan Li that looks at the market openings in Asia.

Hong-Kong based anchor Susan Li was awarded the runner up for Best News Anchor.

In 2012, Bloomberg TV launched Bloomberg TV Mongolia, a new state-of-the-art broadcast studio in Singapore, and several original programmes from Asia including 'Titans at the Table, Asia' and 'Faith in Finance.'

The Asian Television Awards is one of the region's most prestigious industry honours.
