Viacom18 appoints Utpal Das as chief commercial officer

Viacom18 Media has appointed Utpal Das as chief commercial officer.

In his new role, Das will report to Sudhanshu Vats, group CEO of Viacom18.

Vats says, "As a network we are growing exponentially. In our next phase we are committed to strengthening our central functions to build efficiencies and drive synergies. Utpal brings rich and diversified experience to the team and I am confident he will contribute to our growth story. I welcome him to the Viacom18 family and look forward to working with him."

Das comes with more than two decades of experience across several companies in very diverse business segments. Before joining Viacom18, he has also worked with Zee Entertainment Enterprises, TV Today and BCCL in the media industry.
