Amagi commences sales and support operations in Singapore

To cater to the growing pay TV broadcasters in the Asia-pacific region, Amagi media labs have opened its Asia-pacific sales and support office in Singapore.
Amagi is a cloud enabled TV broadcast infrastructure firm that offers cost effective linear channel distribution and playout technology options for TV networks. The Bangalore-based company runs India’s largest local advertising network playing more than 1 million local ad seconds every month on more than 15 TV networks ranging from sports and news to entertainment and lifestyle. The company also has international deployments of its broadcast infrastructure in Europe, Singapore and Africa. 

Amagi’s cloud-based 24x7 channel playout infrastructure and its content regionalization platforms are used by multiple broadcasters worldwide, providing them a cost-effective playout alternative to satellite and fiber.
Amagi’s localization solution enables broadcasters to quickly and easily localize ads in different regions covered by a common satellite feed, without the need for additional transponder costs. Broadcaster can also effortlessly replace ads or content on the web feed of their linear playout using the same localization solution. Amagi recently launched a first of its kind cloud based Disaster Recovery platform for business continuity planning.
The office is centrally located in Novena, Singapore and is equipped to demonstrate the full range of products to prospective customers from the region.
