Airtel Digital TV announces launch of 4K channel

Airtel Digital TV, the DTH arm of Bharti Airtel, has announced the launch of its first ultra HD 4K channel. 

Airtel Digital TV’s 4K channel will be available exclusively to users of the Samsung Smart Direct TV, an integrated digital TV (IDTV) launched by Airtel Digital TV in partnership with Samsung. 

According to Airtel, the 4K channel will be available completely free of cost to users of the Samsung Smart Direct TV for a limited period. 

The Samsung Smart Direct TV uses minimal wiring and a single remote solution, powered by an intuitive user guide and a built-in smart card that allows customers to enjoy TV viewing without an external STB.
