Optelian Names Rupy Bhoi Director of Sales in Canada

Intuitive Packet Optical Networking™ solution provider, Optelian, announces that Rupy Bhoi has been named Director of Sales in Canada. Mr. Bhoi is a senior sales executive with over 20 years of experience in next generation products, applications and services in the North American telecommunications industry.

In his new role with Optelian, Mr. Bhoi will work closely with Optelian’s existing Canadian customers to continue Optelian’s growth in the Canadian market, and further develop Optelian’s Canadian sales team.

Prior to joining Optelian, Mr. Bhoi was the Director of Sales in Canada for Ekinops Corporation, where he was the advanced technology sales lead for Layer 1 opportunities in the carrier marketplace for 100G DWDM applications. He also established strategic benchmark tests with Canadian carriers for lab and field trials.
