Prasar Bharati to launch TV channel for Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim

ITANAGAR: Prasar Bharati will soon launch a television channel for Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim to help promote the rich art and culture of these two northeastern states.
Jawhar Sircar, CEO, Prasar Bharati made the announcement about the new channel, to be christened Prabha, at a meeting with the staff of All India Radio and Doordarshan Kendra on November 10, 2013 at Itanagar.

He urged the DDK staff to extend support to the proposed channel so that it could be launched soon.
